Our products conform to GB, AISI, ASTM, DIN, EN, JIS standard for stainlesss steel coil, sheet and plate.
┃ Material
X20Cr13, 1.4021, S42020, 2Cr13, SUS420JI
┃ Overview
X20Cr13 is martensitic stainless steel, mainly used for machining, than normal stainless steel has better cost performance, so in the case of corrosion resistance is not high requirements, has been more widely used. This steel can get better mechanical properties after quenching treatment, with good machinability, magnetic, good hardness, welding need to preheat.
┃ Characteristics
X20Cr13 has high hardness and good corrosion resistance under quenching condition.
This steel is a commonly used stainless steel, with high thermal strength, oxidation resistance and good shock absorption. Good corrosion resistance in weakly corrosive media, and adequate corrosion resistance to fresh water, sea water, steam and air. Higher properties can be obtained after heat treatment.
┃ Application
X20Cr13 stainless steel has the characteristics of high hardness and good corrosion resistance in the quenching state. It is commonly used in the manufacture of machine parts operating below 450°C and containers for the chemical and food industries used at room temperature.

┃ Heat treatment and hardness
Soft annealing temperature: 745 ~ 825°C, air cooling, hardness max. 230 HBW.
┃ Micro structure
The metallographic structure is characterized by martensitic type.
┃ Machinability
The deep drawing and cold blanking process of X20Cr13 in cold state is good, and the stress relief annealing can be tempered at 730~780℃ and air cooling. The hardening tendency of X20Cr13 steel after welding is large and it is easy to crack.
