The effectof 304 stainless steel can be satisfactory under most marine conditions. In the field of navigation, compared with other grades of stainless steel materials, 304 belongs to austenitic structure and has strong corrosion resistance. As time goes on, austenitic 304 stainless steel will also blacken. In order to maintain beauty and increase service life, this blackening can be removed by grinding. It rarely produces uniform corrosion in seawater, so there is no need to worry in the actual use process.

Propeller: Ships often working in ports are particularly vulnerable to logs or other floating objects on the sea, thus accelerating the damage of propeller. Therefore, the propeller made of austenitic 304 stainless steel can be repaired by straightening or welding, which is a problem worthy of attention in material selection.

Bulk Container: The 304 stainless steel has been used in bulk containers as freight transportation to load liquefied natural gas (LNG), chemicals, beverages, etc.Its purpose is to take into account the good mechanical properties at low temperature.

Condenser: In the bay and harbor areas, a large number of foreign lumps and sludge enter the condenser pipeline, which is particularly easy to cause serious obstacles. At this time, we should take some measures to eliminate it. When the flow speed of seawater is about 1m/s, it can prevent marine organic sundries from being inhaled. The pipe with 304 stainless steel as condenser is not limited by the maximum flow rate.
